Hi all

I know there are hundreds of threads on here regarding coilovers but I cant find the answer I'm looking for.....

Basically I have a budget of about £500 to spend, I have a 06 2.0 Tdi and would like to know which coilovers, you guys out there would buy in your opinions?

Also what are your guys views on buying a set second hand?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Jack

I run AP coilovers on my A4 and I am very happy with the ride and quality.

This has been discussed millions of times on here. SEARCH

I know sorry but I did try the search, however like I said couldn't find the answer I was looking for..... Only topics I could find were best coilovers in general. Nothing referring to my budget

Looks like AP it is then :)

Cheers for all the help and advice, appreciate it!

Jack

I am gonna buy the AP ones in the next week or so too. If we order 3 sets wonder if DPM will do them cheaper?

Just thought I'd post on this as I'm getting coil overs hopefully soon anyway, my mate owns a company in Newport called Gwent Vw who specialise in tuning Vw , Audi etc for the past 11 years and I basically said what would be the best coil overs for under £500 and straight away it was fk high sport , I said not ap then ? Nope no way had few problems with them etc, he said if ur just wanting the car to look nice then the high sport by fk are a very good choice as that's all he uses on his demo cars but if ur sum1 with like a s3 or petrol turbo car looking at a performance set up then ul need to go beyond the £500 mark and go toward kw or eibach coil overs, he's abit pricey thou as he would supply the high sport for £450 but I know Dpm do them for under £400 he said I would shortened drop links etc, basically supply and fit coilies and drop links all in £700 ,sorry for the essay just thought u might find this helpful

You OK to contact DPM and maybe GNJ on the forum also, I'm happy too otherwise.
drop me a PM and Acerjack for our cars and what we require.

AP's ride much better than FKs, and I wouldn't touch Eibach coilovers with a bargepole! Everyone will always have different opinions, I always go on experience.

Pretty sure we'd be able to do something for you.

Damian @ DPM Performance

What sort of offer can you do if we bought 2 or 3 sets of these AP's DPM?

Cheers

i would be interested in kw v1 inox, if anyone else fancied a set mayb we could see if dpm could arrange some sort of GB, i know a few folk in the mk5 gti forum would be interested..

If anyone is interested in discount on some AP Coilovers please send me via PM as we need one more person for a deal as one original member has dropped out.
