Coilovers and wheel spacers

Hi

I know this question has probably been asked before. but here goes. i have a 2011 A3 black edition 2.0tdi i'm wanting to put coilovers and wheel spacers on.

we've just had a little one so wondering what the overall ride will feel like. i don't mind the sline harshness but don't want to be driving something that going to rattle my fillings out lol.
i see you mentioned v-maxx coils are the most comfortable so I'm guessing you'll suggest these. if so how much are these?

I also would like some wheels spacers. I've read that (i think i remember this right) most common are 10mm front and 10/12mm rear. we generally have me and my partner in the front, little one in the rear and time-time 1 adult in the rear. what are your views on rear?
Also how much would both front and rear cost?

Both the V-Maxx and AP coilover kits are good option in terms of comfort and value for money for an everyday road kit.

As for spacers I'd go for 8mm/10mm front and 12mm rear.

Thanks your help. Just wondering is there much difference in the v-maxx and the v-maxx plus kit. Is this work the extra £ for the ride quality and looks?

Im away this week is it possible to tell what size strut is in my car without looking?

Morning,

The V-Maxx Plus has adjustable damping where as the normal V-Maxx kit is just height adjustable.

The Black Edition 2.0TDI will most likely be a 55mm front strut.

Depending on the condition of your current ones, the front top mounts are a worth while change whilst the suspension is off.
