Coil Spring Seat

Dealer has identifed wear on OSR lower coil spring seat. The car is a B9 S-line Avant 2016. Anyone else heard of this as a problem?

Not so much wear but corrosion is a bit of a common problem with the rear lower spring seats for sure.

Just about to change mine myself. Shocked at how corroded they are to be honest. Water has got into the N/S of mine and expanded the metal inside it so I’m changing them in the hope of evening out the ride height slightly.

I did a write up here for B8. I’m sure B9 is practically the same. Audi will charge upwards of £300 to change.

Rear coil spring seats replacement

Car (B8 A4 Allroad) was in for a air-conditioning recharge at the main dealer today. For £100 I think that's not too bad. They did their usual health check and came back with the rear coil spring seats needing replaced. As far as I can see from the Audicam video its the rubber seats that have...
