Code Reader/resetter

Had a few weeks trouble free with my A4 avant...
But now the airbag light is on!!!....
Are there any decent cheap code readers about just to identify the problem/ reset the light to see if it comes back?
Or am I going to need to fork out at a garage?

Hey,

I have a Vgate VS450, have had it for a few year you can get them new from £25 to £30. I does diagnostics/ airbag light reset etc. Easy to use and just plug and play.

You will probably find its the plug under your seat that is gone (just cut the plug and hard wire).... or could be the lumbar support bar snapped and rubbing on the airbag wire. Post up the results when you get the code reader and should be easy enough to sort out.
