16618 - Boost Pressure Regulation: Limit Exceeded (Overboost Condition)
hi all i had the following code on my a3 2.0tdi 2004 year, and the specialist i seen says i need a new turbo , costing £1000 inculding labour, any thoughts or is he ripping me off

im sure things like this people say is down to the N75 Valve audi call it a pressure sensor ill b corrected if im wrong but ive heard of people replacing that with great results?

yes your right mate been looking at a few boost problems tonight as my a4 has gone the same way and the N75 valve is also known as a bleeder valve. tell then to get bent with new turbo and just get N75 valve. dont bother looking on ebay already been there tonight and there aint any

Have you got any remap done to your car? This may be causing such problems...
