Clutch pedal going flat to the floor?!?

this has happend twice to me now in the last two weeks. where i get in the car put my foot on the clutch to find it goes flat to the floor and stays there! after getting in the footwell and pulling it back up and starting the car it seems to be ok again.

Anyone ever had this happen? or know what causes it?

im asuming that there is no cluthch cable on the S3? is it hydrolic? how does it work?

Master/Slave cylinder.

Get those checked out first would be my advice.

Is it linked in with anything else? or is the Master/Slave cylinder just for the clutch?

Is there a resivour i can check?
