Facelift Cluster question

So I’m teetering on the edge with buying the step up of cluster from mine and installing it. I currently have the normal square a4 b9 cluster and I don’t really want to go all the way to VC.

Would anyone know if I’m right in saying that; the cluster will show a different mileage to what my car has done?

And

Will I need a separate cable for the new cluster (picture)?

I know my car cluster will have the cable for the right and side port but I believe it won’t have the left and side cable.

Don't know about the cable but I'm fairly sure you can't change the mileage that is on the cluster.

I think if I’m correct; if a cluster is bought brand new then a second hand one will show previous cars mileage.

I believe the other port is a fakra cable but if someone who has done thins could confirm this then that would be fantastic ( and if it’s a hard job to do )
