Hi guys, as above I have a clunking/popping noise when going over bumps, slow/fast, straight/ turning. It doesn't happen on every bump but 90% of the time it will
It seems to happen when the wheel is on the way back down on a bump most of the time
I only just recently replaced the control arms left and right, upper and lowers and have checked for play but couldn't find any. Jacking up and pushing and pulling on wheels etc
What I have noticed however is when I jack just one side up and rotate one wheel you can move it back and forth and there be a clunking sort of noise, but I wasn't sure if this was just normal meshing of the gears or something. But the noise doesn't sound like it 'trapped' in the gearbox but more so the inner cv joints or something.
Any ideas? Cheers, james
