Front end of car clicks or slightly knocks every now and then. I've changed the drop links thinking it was them but it's still there.
Suspension is standard sport suspension on b5 perches.
Anyone any ideas what it could be, it's really really annoying.
I've checked everything and cannot see anything wrong.
To confuse matters a friend has a b7 lowered (a lot) and has the same problem.
Seems to click when turning the steering wheel???

my old passat had a click only noticed it when parking in tesco and the like i found it to be the lower arm could not get it to move ect looking for play but once swapped sorted it

Some times I hate the vw audi arm set up you can't tell witch one is knackard some time u wish it would just brake so it's obvious

Mine a6 clicks when turning, but not full lock and not in time with engine so I can be CV joints. Doesn't really annoy me tho.

Tell me about it! Lol. I was hoping I could see something snapped or in bits.
Full lock? CV possibly?
Kind of.. I can turn into junctions fine but if I got to turn slowly into a car park space or similar it will happen.
Is there another way to check these or this as I know which side it is.

I wish it didn't annoy me but I like a smooth drive constantly.
Touch of OCD kicking in..
