Cleaning up the centre surround?

Ok, I’m not a fan of the wood interiors myself but they do appear to age better, my alu centre console is looking very grubby.

Cleaning suggestions? Is there anything magical out there that wipes it clean again? I’ve wiped and wiped and it’s not improved any.

If it doesn’t clean, will it polish up?

Try some APC (all purpose cleaner) on a cloth, or maybe some tar and glue remover if it's a bit harder to shift.

Swap for piano black would be my solution if you don't like wood.

I've never seen an Aluminium set that didn't get scratched and look manky. It's bare aluminium, so once its scratched it will never look the same again.
