every time I start up there is a clang from under the car. Sounds a bit like some knocks the exhaust with a screwdriver? Any ideas?

You need to provide more information as we can't be expected to diagnose 'clang from under car'. Where from, what kind of clang, does it do all times etc....

Lol. Guess my post is bit vague! The “clang” is 1 second after engine start. Only really notice it in the mornings? Not a Big Bang. Just wondered what it could be?

Can you pin point the area from which the clang comes from?

Best guess would be between rear axle and gear box?

maybe a stone caught in the heat shield or as WesT-geful suggests, check exhaust mounts. Could be happening when the engine turns over and the exhaust moves with it.

Sounds like nothing to do with the starter then, as suggested check exhaust and heat shields. But maybe a job for the dealership under warranty...
