Following on from Gops' seat cleaning thread, I thought I'd post my most recent:
Citroen C3 Interior only
This one was passed through as a referral job from a previous interior detail. The C3 was a new purchase for my client in town; my brief was to revive the interior back to a factory finish.
Product/Kit
3M Glass Cleaner
AutoSmart G101
AutoSmart BioBrisk
Meguiars Slide Lock Brush
Meguiars Pet Hair Removal Brush
Toothpicks
VAX6131 extraction system
Woolite
I quite enjoy the odd Interior job thrown into the mix Always a good one for a big turnaround!
Vehicle in question:
The worst areas being the upholstery, the dog hair stuck in the carpets and the material section on the doorcards.
Starting with the wet-work, thus, given the cloth enough time to fully dry before collection later that morning.
AS Bio-Brisk used in a trigger-spray to help clean the engrained cloth through the extraction stages.
A few 50/50s:
And the dirty water collection tank (living up to its name)
After each seat/section had been completed, a clean microfibre soaked in a warm Woolite mix was used to re-wet the area to ensure the seat dries as one (which helps avoid tide-marks!)
The material inserts on the doorcards were cleaned with Bio-Brisk and a few clean clothes..
Plastics scrubbed up with AutoSmart G101:
Interior windows cleaned with 3M Glass Cleaner.
Hoovered and tidied on the edges.
.finished!
