Chrome tailpipe cleaning

Can anyone recommend the best way to clean chrome tailpipes.

Inside the pipes WD40 on a rag....I kid you not!

Outside any metal polish you like, I use one that is used for fire surrounds called 'Hotspot metal polish' just because I already had some.

went for autosol just because i found it, then cleaned it gently, always be gentle when cleaning your pipes

This will sound weird, but good old sugar lump is effective and gentle way.
Try it and you be amazed.
