Chrome door handle cap removal?

I have the chrome caps on the door handles of my S4 B9, does anybody know if they can be easily removed and does it just leave the body colour beneath, or is the cap part of the handle ?

Need to find someone with elswin access try in the thread for the grill hopefully someone can get you the workshop drawing to show if it separates

Looks like you would need to change the handle if you removed the trim (items 11 &12)

Yep, the handle with chrome looks in two parts to me...

For me the chrome is lovely.
I have the basic `SE` and was delighted when I first saw the handles. Looks very classy.
