Cheap Toothpaste Read On...

Is great for removing grease and road crap from your windscreen, buy the cheapest non coloured you can find, then smear onto screen with a damp sponge, clean the wiper blades too, then pour some water onto the screen run the wipers across a few times with a bit of extra water and you are done. repeat as required if you still have a few greasy spots.

Works everytime for me

\Many years ago i had a Mk1 Astra GTE (great car btw) which had a dreadful screen that would never clear properly when wet,i went into a car accessory shop and asked if they had anything to clean it really well and the guy said try toothpaste which i did and it worked!

We used to use toothpaste in the RAF to clean the shiny peaks on the number 1 uniform, joy of joys that was!

It's need to be old fashioned toothpaste as said though, you don't want stripes on your windscreen.....

I find glass polish does the same job..

It works because it's a mild abrasive.
