Hey there!
New Audi Owner here. I've got an A6 2012 and I'm trying to replace the GPS unit on the car as the OEM one isn't working. I have 4 Audi keys and the GPS to remove the radio head unit but can't seem to get it out or get any keys to click. Does anyone know the locations of where to put the keys and/or have a guide to remove the unit? I just don't want to end up being rough and breaking anything!

From what I know it is an RMC style unit. I've attached a picture.

Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance! :)

Have you identified that the GPS antenna is not causing the problem?

What happens if you plug the new unit into the old, but faulty, antenna.

However, if you can remove the unit, then Hazzydayz can repair it. They will also tell you how to remove it.......

You pull out the AC control unit, then there is (if I remember correctly) a single screw to remove, then the whole unit should just slide out.

Good luck :hi:

Yup, use a plastic pry tools to release the AC panel from either side and remove. Then there is a single bolt for the radio.
