I have a 58 plate s line, with standard lights and halogen DRL's. I've been doing some reading about changing the DRL to whiter bulbs but cant seem to find a very good answer. Is there a simple replacement that i can just swap over, e.g the right wattage etc? All the suggestions i've seen dont seem to be a proper match for the original bulb.

ide just leave it i think there blue/ white enough. what about that guy who dose the non error led bulbs ( cant remember his name but go on the rs3 fourm hes posted a mini build on there with led bulbs

mine might be different to yours, they are a dull yellow colour, no hint of white or bright! will keep having a look around.

dont think so, only had it a week from main dealer so sure they would have replaced them if they were.

heres some pics on mine in the day

There's 2 versions of the 8P3's DRL I thought? the halogen type and then the LED type

you might be able to replace the halogen bulb with an LED, as Nally said, Trups from EM tuning specialises in LED bulbs, give him a shout to see if he's produced a led replacement for the halogen bulb

Nally, had a look at mine and they are definitley not white like yours, although not quite as yellow as i originally thought either. Also my DRL are at the bottom of the headlight unit rather than the top.
