Hi guys,
Am trying to change the seats over in my 2004 2.0 tdi A3 and have come across a hitch.
The ones I am taking out seem to have two connectors to the airbag and the ones I am putting in onlyhave the one ( yellow )
I don't want to deactivate the airbag by not fitting properly but could anyone explain this please and basically are the seats incompatible to my car?
Many thanks

Hi,
Are you sure that they are airbag connectors (usually yellow) I suspect that the other connector is to do with a seat belt warning pad and or the seat belt stalk warning of 'belt on/off'. Do your sets have those, i think the SE did and the sports did not. There are some guides on here about changing the pads and the stalk warning over to the new seats if that is the case.

Hi there,
Thanks for your advice. Have been advised by the guy I bought the seats off that the other connectors are for heated seats which the new ones are not so all sorted now.
Cheers again,
Dave.
