Change dip/main / indicator stem , big job ?

Change dip/main / indicator stem , big job ?

Any pointers, as to what is involved , changing the left side control stem,

what needs to be removed , wheel ? air-bag ?

airbag, wheel, clockspring (best to use some tape to keep the clockspring in its proper position, steering shroud.

both the left and right stalks slide over each other afaik
