Central locking 'clicking'

Apologies if this has already been discussed, but I couldn't find anything on a search. When I unlock my B8 Avant, I often get a clicking noise for several seconds. It doesn't happen when locking, and it seems yo come from the right rear quarter. I will lock and unlock it 5 or 6 times, before it behaves normally.

anyone got any thoughts?

Sounds like your fuel flap

yup its the actuating solenoid that locks and unlocks.A common thing with veedubs too

Thanks chaps. Figured it might be something like that given its location. I'll try to get behind the panel and take a look. I want to sell it soon, so hoping it won't cost me a fortune!
