Catch can

I've bought a catch can to do away with the pcv system as I've read it's problematic & benefits cleaner air entering the engine which can only be a good thing. Does the outlet from the can have to go back to the tip or can it be run to under the car & the take off point on the tip deleted to keep inlets cleaner?

You can vent it to atmosphere all u need to do is block the tip of where it would have returned to and put an extra filter on the catch can. Job done
