Cat removal on 1.8t , does it bring MIL light on?

So removing the cat is a doddle but some reports say it constantly brings MIL on , anyone done it ?

Yes bank 2 lambda needs mapping out, some fit a spacer, works and doesn't always if just do it properly and get it mapped out

Yeah especially if there's a 3@ down pipe available to go with decat, well worth it

3" downpipe is too big, you lose a LOT of 2000-2700rpm torque. A mate with 2.0tfsi 240hp has a 2.5"downpipe. I recommend the same for a stock turbo. Even thinking of getting a new 2.5" DP myself.

I've got a decat fitted on my 1.8t , hasn't bought my eml on but feels more responsive on the throttle

Ben did you have to fit the spacer to the lands sensor?
