Cat / exhaust removal

can you remove the cat / down pipe flexi assembly joined from throw the bonnet or down below or do you need to split them?

You can remove them joined from up top with airbox removed, its a bit tight and needs a good pull but it will go.

Thanks - ended up doing it that way after finally removing the down pipe and the heat shield - Haynes said that it was remove from below ... Grrrr

Driveshaft heatshield makes all the difference!

Finally got it out.... Disconnected from turbo so was able to get to those awkward down pipe / cat bolts ....
fitted new one with down pipe from the top - thanks bradderz
