carpet soaked

hi all

after the heavy rain we had last night i noticed today that my passenger front carpet is soaked through. after some investigation i found that its coming from behind the glove box. anyone had this before or knows were the water could be coming in from.

it'll probably be a plug somewhere under the car. Again mate, another warranty issue for definite

yeah its definetely dripping from above somewhere as ive had the carpet up and found nothing.

going back to lawsons 2moro to get it looked at.

Oh dear - not a good start to your relationship. Have a look where the pollen filter is.

yeah ive had a few little problems with the new s3 and ive only had it 2 weeks.

wheres the pollen filter and could that be the problem.

Dunno mate - never had the issue but from what I've heard its the pollen filter thats blocked and causing the carpet to soak. Do a search!

Pollen filter is under the wiper scuttle on the passenger side under the bonnet.

I had the same problem with my polo. Was leaking through from the pollen filter.

had this problem on my a3 .causes screen to steam up
and carpets start to smell . scuttle some times comes
away from screen a bit allowing water to come through
the pollen filter.search the forum im sure this has come up
before.

Sounds like a pollon filter problem for sure
