I've just bought some carbon door trims and ashtray cover/gear lever surround and wondered if how easy it is to remove the existing ones and fit the new ones?
Do I need any special tools as I don't want to damage my black edition parts as they may go back on later.
Any help would be much appreciated. Car is 2012 Black Ed S3.
Thanks

The door trims just pop off mate, use a flat headed screw driver to 'prize' them off but be careful. The gear surround just pulls off as well, hold the gear knob and pull it up towards you (try not to nock yourself out) the square trim around the gater will just pop out with it and the ashtray is held in with x2 torx screws that you will see once the gater is off.

put some pics up when done? never seen the carbon in an s3!

Hi, no it is original trim parts wrapped and then 2k lacquered and then rubbed down and lacquered again so no peeling corners. I will post some pictures (if i can) when i get it done as work got in the way this weekend as it often does :(.
I got them from a specialist who wraps by dipping the bits, he does loads for the VW T5 lads.
