Looking back at the response from the carbon fiber trims, I really doubt there'll be enough interests at all to do the center console parts... At the most, you can order a beat up used center console panel and send it to me, they can custom build it in carbon fiber for pretty cheap, much better than doing the whole run with tooling etc. A little tempted to do just the custom rear part of the panel like the Carbon Designz below...

The advanced key is the only variation on the lower center console, and it's the same for RHD and LHD as well. And yeah, with the customs, they'll build a layer of carbon on top of the OE part so that you'd just swap it with yours. The process is actually completely reversed from the carbon trims.

With the carbon trims, they took the OE and casted it in silicon then machined a steel tool based on the silicon. A layer of gel coat is applied to the tool and then layer the carbon fibers, so the top surface came out smooth already and they polish it to a shine.

With the custom made parts, there's no tooling and basically all labor. With the OE part, they layer the carbon fiber on the OE part first and then apply the gel coat on top, and the surface will have to be hand polished to smooth and shine. The vendor can pad print the arrows etc on the surface, but the problem is they won't light up! I've been trying to get them to do a laser engraving through the carbon and finish it with clear resin for the arrows for the light to shine through, but they aren't really interested unless in larger volume..

So right now, this is all talk, still don't have a perfect solution for it yet.

The trims arrived today. There is only one word for them, STUNNING!!
The quality is excellent and the fit is perfect.

I expected them to be good but they far exceed my expectations. They totally transform the look of the interior.

Sadly, as we discussed, I can't fit the door trims yet as I have to get them slightly modified for the led lights. Can't wait!!

Glad you guys like them But TBH, I highly doubt the center console would happen, the interest just isn't there, just look at what happened to the trims, people went missing even though I requested signing up and then reconfirm... I still need to offload these on eBay soon Besides, I still couldn't come up with a good way to do the labels on the volume knob...

Received mine yesterday too, all I can say is WOW! Close up the carbon weave looks great! Certainly exceeded my expectations, tried them on without sticking when I got home yesterday because it was getting dark. Hopefully tomorrow or the weekend I will be giving the car a clean and putting them on.
