Car tax discs to be axed....but still to be enforced - DDM available!

On the news this morning,

BBC News - Car tax disc to be axed after 93 years

Typical that I've recently purchased a Richbrook tax disc holder- so I expect that to go into retirement come October 2014!

Allowing payment through monthly instalments will be a great move also....I currently have to tax my vehicle during my MOT month or 6 months down the month I have my insurance renewal.

I suppose this will help reduce cloning because the cloner won't know if the car he's cloning is Taxed ...clone.

Hmmm ...may have to SORN my car in March, then Tax it in April for 6 months, then get a year's Tax in October so I'll have one of the last ones issued.
