Car phone cradle!

Anyone modified the phone cradle to take a normal hands free cradle? Was thinking about taking it apart. Removing the four clips that would have taken the iPhone 4 cradle and the glueing a iPhone 8 hands free kit on.

I didn't bother and bought a replacement centre console trim which didn't have the cut outs for the phone cradle lol

Doesn’t the cradle have the Bluetooth in it?

The Bluetooth module is under the passengers seat.
The cradle is useless for today's phones.

Where did you get the trim with out the holes in it from?
