Have you tried adding an older driver to your policy to bring the price down?

Insuring my dad as a named driver knocked approx £100 off my premium.

Only payed £180 this year.

Being old does have its benefits... :)

I go with Directline, I get a discount for paying online and if you have two policies at the same address you get 10% off, Im not interested in a courtesy car and I put my excess up to the highest amount possible, my Bora was £265 for the year.....

I'm 25, 7 years no claims, 31 year old partner on policy, SP30 - Lowest quote so far is £370 for the year with directline.com

I will be going back to A-plan to get them to better it though.

Shop around all the comparison sites etc and you should get a smart deal.

WOW! You got proper done then, I was pulled over for undertaking once(undertook an OAP doing 20 in the right lane in a 30), I admitted it as soon as the copper got to my window, he just said don't do it again. - Phew!

There's no way I'd pay that much for insurance, just couldn't justify that to myself.

I'm only £500 for the RS.

Old; live in the countryside; no accidents; no points; good at blagging my way out of things with the coppers.

Mine went up this year from £350 to £400, and despite looking about couldn't get it cheaper. 7 yrs no claims, no points, mods declared.

Me neither...
I'm about 600 on the 911.

£270 a month? I'd want a Platunim plated tuned Zonda for that sort of cash...not a poxy A3.

You'd probably get a Zonda for less than that! Just had a hunt round the internet and it seems I can get insurance on a Murcielago LP640 for less than £1400 a year. Shame I can't afford the car :(

Mine is £1100 with Audi insurance, business use and a ****** postcode. They agreed to accept the 9yrs no claims I had lost due to going on a classic policy, no one else would and the cheapest was £2400.

My Cossie was £126 F/C all mods declared, £4k agreed value and salvage retention.
