Car insurance legal cover?

Can someone tell me if I buy legal cover with one insurance company, does it cover me for all my cars as a driver and passenger?

More importantly, does it only cover me for the car I'm insured with? or do I need separate legal cover for each insurance policy?

And in my experience its very well worth it for what it costs. Hit on two separate occasions by uninsured drivers and the legal cover sorted it all out with little to no input from me.

Especially with all this claim for anything malarkey, I'm not going without! But one insurance company wants £25 for legal cover, another wants £250, which baffles me?!

**** £250 most iv paid is £33 usaly around £25.

I think £250 must be a typing error. £25 is the norm!
