Another stupid thought.... what info gets wiped from the ECU when you change the battery? I have the RNSE code from last time. That s a long story and ended up with me paying a website to get it, to then arguing with Audi to get a refund as they couldn’t give me the ****ing code! Unreal.

windows need resetting you put them all the way down and then up

Yes this is the battery (also labelled as Bosch) and only the windows need resetting. You won’t lose radio coding but you may get a steering wheel symbol on the dash. This will disappear after a couple hundred yards of driving.
