can too much coolant damage the car/engine?

just got my car back from its 60k service and now when its turned on i get an engine warning light come on and warning beeps. i looked in the manual and its the engine coolant warning.

the warning light (and warning beeps) usually goes away after a minute whilst the engine is warming up.

checked it and its filled to over the MAX line. will this damage the engine/car at all?

if its just over it it shouldnt be too much to worry about, remember when the cars hot it expands a bit so can look like theres more in it.

NO PROBLEM IF THERE IS TO MUCH IN THE CAR WILL VENT OUT THE EXCESS ANYWAY

i'll check it again to see how much over it is when i get home. it will have been off for most of the day so good time to check.
