Camping & charging gadgets

I am going camping, taking a transit with a bike, for about 3 weeks. The problem is I want to take my mobile and a portable dvd player but how do I charge them up. I might be able to run the transity for 1 hour a day but not sure. Will solar panels help charge batteries? Any ideas?
