Cam belt or cam chain?

When I bought the car the sales man told me it had a cam chain, but based on googling it, it seems the 2.0T has a belt? What is correct? Also can I inspect the chain/belt from the front of the car or is it at the rear towards the firewall?

Both , belt on front and chain on back.

It has a timing belt and a cam chain as Rob stated.

The belt drives one camshaft (exhaust I think), then the chain at the back drives the inlet shaft from the exhaust shaft.

OK, I guess I will have to read up on the service history again.
Anyone running lighter or smaller size pulleys?
