    Afternoon all,

I was cleaning my car today and when I had the bonnet open I noticed that one of the ‘stops’ is missing (I think)

I noticed the same kind of bonnet stop was missing fron my A1.

Would you all be so kind as to check if this stop is missing or not on your cars please?

It might be that there’s only suppose to be one, as like I say I only had one on my A1.

Elastic straps are used to hold on the white protective bonnet cover during transit and they are looped around these stops. On a couple of occasions I have seen these being pulled out when the covers are removed and subsequently not refitted.

Sorry, I have two of them. So you look to have one missing as chap above says may have accidentally been lost in car prep.

    Thanks for that guys.

Now that I know that’s how they attach the protective bonnet cover. I can see how they’ve been missing on my previous Audi’s now.

I’ve just asked Mike to send me a couple. Got a spare as I’ve broke one previously.
