cabriolet seats

hi, just joined, great looking forums, lots of very helpful members. i have some headrest mounted dvd players and need to remove backs of seats to route wiring, do's anybody know how the backs of the seats come off without breaking any clips or damaging the leather. cheers

hi and welcome, i have fitted headrest monitors, but i ran the cables down the chrome stem of headrest, into the seat and out underneath. no cables in sight !

hi, mine are the same but how did you run cables inside seat? did you take back cover off? if so how did it come off? thanks

no i rodded down the whole where the headrest sits in the seat and it came out the rear bottom

go down the side closest to the armrest on both seats, the airbags are on the outer side so keeps you as far away as poss whilst rodding.
last thing you want is anything going wrong near them lol

Hi are these these Audi headrests with built in DVD or aftermarket? If so what do you reccommend?

hi, aftermarket units, took a chance and ordrerd them in from china, half the price of uk sellers, them had the headrests recovered to match seats. tried units before i did this and they seemed to work fine.
