C6, LEDs?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if it is a good idea to upgrade to LEDs? A lot of people around me keep upgrading their lights to LEDs and claim, that LEDs are brighter, do not blind the oncoming traffic and last longer. So I was kinda wondering, if it is a good idea to get a set of nice LEDs for my C6?
Now, I own an S6 (2010, 2.8 L), and I think of getting a set of Hikari Ultra LEDs: https://hikari-led.com/headlight-bulbs/ultra-led-headlight-conversion-kit.html
I saw that these LEDs have a lot of good reviews and aren't cheap...
But before I go and buy a kit, I wanted to make sure LEDs won't do any harm to my Audi....

It's not a legal modification, so you may find your car fails it's MOT.

My car just failed it's MOT for just this reason. Apparently the rules have been changed recently and this type of change is no longer allowed. HID, LED an any modification from original spec is a definite No No. The center I went to did say I could always change them back as long as I did not forget to re-do the change before the next MOT (strictly off the record of course).
