Hope this is fine being in this forum, but I've got a 2006 petrol Octavia VRS (2l TFSI BWA engine) with engine troubles.
Recently the turbo blew and this has been replaced with a OEM one from TPS. Renewed the required lines as well and the removal and refitting went fine.
After starting it and allowing it to idle till the car got up to temp I took it for a test drive. This didn't last long as the car went into limp mode after the first whiff of boost, then when I arrived back home (literally drove the car maybe 1/2 mile), popped open the engine bay and noticed some strange noises coming from the engine.
I managed to get a video of this and hoping someone maybe able to provide some help as to whats gone wrong. I will be plugging it into VCDS tomorrow or Monday.
