Buying advice A1 1.4 TFSI S Line S Tronic

Hi my first post.

I am looking to buy my first Audi A1 (currently own a VW golf) was looking for advice on what to look out for or be concerned about (for example engine, suspension, recalls?)

The spec that I am going to view from an Audi dealership is an automatic 2014 1.4 TFSI S Line Style Edition 5dr S and has done 55,161 miles.

Welcome to the forum. The 1.4 engine is a peach. Usual stuff to look at is service history etc, when/if timing belt has been changed, being an automatic ask about when that box was last serviced. That model A1 has been out quite a while so any recalls should have been done by now. Wife had one and I can’t remember if hers was ever recalled though, great little car.

Ensure the 1.4 engine is the 140/150PS version and not the 125 PS.

The 140/150PS is indeed a peach of an engine.

Timing belt change at 5 years so ensure that has been done.
