Who mapped it and was it a custom map?

Bet the car feels much better to drive and from the graph looks like it pulls well - decent set of tyres on as well will help

Custom map by Joe Power. It feels amazing, honestly like a different car, pulls and pulls and pulls:grinning: Have a set of eagle F1's on it so loads of grip. Joe told me not to launch though as the clutch will prob go so new clutch is on my shopping list, that and autotech hpfp internals

Good your grinning haha

My clutch wasn't happy when I got went to a Revo stage 2+ map but looking to get a custom map now as the Revo map wipes if the battery dies which isn't too clever haha

You gonna get a new clutch? Revo didn't think that one through, I presume mine is safe if I have to disconnect the battery for any reason, think I'll bang him a txt to be sure.

Yeah your map will be fine, had a new clutch fitted when I had the Revo map installed as it was slipping and replaced the flywheel at the same time

Ah I see, what clutch did you go for?

Great results with Stage 2 buddy but more importantly, that it drives well! So you know, you've put 224 instead of 324 ftlb in your signature ;)

Haha silly me :p I'm loving it, so much fun to drive now. Where did you get your spec clutch and smf if ye don't mind me asking?

Glad you're enjoying it mate, I'm at the very bottom of Stage 2 with my poor mans stock DP mod and Revo software but it's still a lot a fun a year on! Can't wait to get a BCS DP, HPFP and go to stage 2+ as that's a bigger jump than from stock to stage 2 apparently!

As for the Spec Clutch & Steel SMF than I got them from Walter at Ultra Rev in the US, more information here: http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/best-spec-clutch-flywheel-offers-available.288600/

What hp is urs at? I'm in the process of saving for a new clutch and hpfp internals, been told there's no point getting a loba for stage2+. Nice1, decent prices for a full kit, did you have to pay duty when it arrived?

TBH not sure of make\brand as the Audi specialist doing the Revo map ordered\fitted it - its listed on their receipt as stage 2 organic clutch and duel mass flywheel

I've never had it on the rollers and Revo dealers always map on the road with no dyno runs at all, but I imagine it'll be around the 310ish mark. I will most likely get a BCS DP and go R-Tech for a custom stage 2 remap and then return for stage 2+ at a later date, it all depends on funds to be honest.

I did indeed have import tax to pay unfortunately, can't remember exactly how much but it's all document on that thread, think it was around £180 which is still cheaper all in than the UK supplier.

Prob a Sachs or similar.

That's always the way, funds are always low when your modding lol.

I'm in 2 minds about a single mass and duel mass flywheels. Less to go wrong with a single mass but then you have the problem with vibrations, dual mass has more bits to fail but lower vibrations so its a catch 22.

I was just up with Joe on Monday getting my s3 mapped too. 320bhp and 345lbft torque. Only engine mod is an intake. He said there was more in it too but I'd need to upgrade the fuel pump. My clutch is slipping now a bit so I'm ordering this

Haha was wondering if it was you up the day before after reading your clutch post. He was saying about yours maxing out the fuel pump and I would have the same issue with mine, that and the clutch. Felt a little slip today, dropped it down to map 3 which is around 300bhp

Yeah I had to drop down to a 280bhp map to avoid slippage. Thank god I went for the switchable 5 map. I'll take it easy until my new clutch arrives

Yeah I'm the same, will be taking it handy, would be a nightmare if it totally went
