After some advice following broken pipe off EGR cooler. Given the price of a replacement cooler, i would rather spend the money on a re-map and EGR delete.

Is it possible to remove the EGR and EGR cooler from a 2006 A4 TDI (140) BLB Engine completely and map it out? Anyone experience of doing this or able to explain the finer details of what is required?? Need to take action on this asap as the car is a daily driver and currently has a temporary blank over the exhaust manifold and the engine management light is on as a result.

Any help much appreciated.

Regards, Liam

Harley Monster... no i didnt do the delete and remap in the end, opted for replacement cooler to keep it standard and get it back working again before any tuning. The advice i got from various independant Audi places was that it wasnt as straight forward as i had hoped to remove and remap.
