broken dipstick tube ??

hi guys quick question for u all,I hav been getting 17544 code spring up from time to time,yeterday I found that my dipstick tube had snapped rite where it connects to metal.could this be part of the problem??

No mate, that wont bring up any faults, the dipstick tube repair is very quick and easy, and only costs £3.79 from Audi.
