Braking issues

My a6 tdi sports brakes have gone bad. Pressing the pedal once you get a good amount of stopping but if I let off the pedal and press it again the pedal is hard and nearly no one stopping.

Checked for water in the scuttle area only a little nothing flooding the servo. I'm getting vacuum at the servo too but could I still have a leak?

Anyone else had and sorted this issue?

This may be a vacuum problem (To the brake booster) Check the vacuum system and the vacuum pump

I get some vacuum just not sure how much is right.

Check to see if the system holding a vacuum. look for damaged vacuum hose. Which engine?

Avf, how long should it hold vacuum for?

If the system holds a vacuum for 10 minutes it is fine. Probably has a reserve vacuum tank in the car check if it is not cracked
