Don't know if I should have posted this on the Technical forum but I'm sure it will be moved if need be.
Have just recently had my car back for a service at the local stealers and they tell me I will be needin very soon, new discs and pads front and back.
this will be correct as I've not renewed them myself and couldn't find any paperwork saying that it had been done.
Anyway the reason I post is that the stealers were looking for, wait for it, £400 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif plus the VAT for supply and fit.
I have changed discs and pads on previous motors but was just wondering how easy a job it is on my 2000 A4.
Does anyone know what a good cost would be and the best place to source the new discs and pads ?
