Brake lights out

Hey guys,

All 3 of my brake lights have stopped working at once with no warning light on the dash, any ideas of what I can check? I'm guessing it must be a switch some where or something? had a quick poke around behind the pedal and couldn't feel anything loose and all fuses seem to be in place.....


2003 S3 if it makes a difference...

Remove the trim under the dash, unclip the brake switch, pop the lid off it, remove burnt surface on contacts, reassemble. Or you buy a new one for £16!

have you checked the fuse?

Yep checked the fuse and thats fine, will have to take the dash apart 2mo then is it just safer to replace the sensor and be done with it?
