Hey all had some major issues with the A3 recently.
when at 70 mph the car would be holding back and feel like it was misfiring and juddering, also the throttle went dead once, the epc light kept popping up on the dash (petrol engine) and then going off again, so plugged the snap-on computer we have in work into the car and it came up with brake light switch implausible signal... so got a new brake light swtich from TPS and now the car is perfect again, how annoying that was lol!! was thinking it could be the maf gone down but unplugged that and it made zero difference. anyway the car is now back to how it was if not better than before as the mpg seems to have improved again happy days, so glad it was a cheap part to fix her as just not long ago spent the best part of £1000 getting her back on the road after the gearbox went boom.
