Bose System & Sub - Help Needed

Hey all,

I have picked up my Audi A3 Sport 2009 today which has the Bose System.
I have had a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer and amp for years and would like to install this into the boot.

When taking out the heat unit my dad could see there is no output for the sub connection.

I just need to understand what connection is needed? I have looked online and get a lot of different information?

Halfords told me you can buy the connection from Audi themselves but its over a hundred pounds.

If you just let me know the type/code or show me an image of what one looks like I can go hunting.

Id be really greatful for any help given, as anybody knows when you are used to a powerful sub and its not there its very noticeable.

There are 4 outputs/lines that already feed the existing amp, I suggest you do more research in the In-car Entertainment section.

Congrats on the purchase you must be a serious audiophile though as I find the Bose has plenty of bass!

I looked at changing from the Bose system but was told to expect to pay upto 2k for the same sound quality! ( all taken with a pinch of salt)

truthfully I'd leave the Bose in and just sell your amp and sub on eBay.
