bosch rear wiper (not aero)

brought a new bosch rear wiper from halfords as the rubber on the current one is splitting. i know how to replace the front wipers as thats rather straight forward but in the rear wiper box, there is a small white box with some sort of cover/fitting in there.

what is that for?

OK, the rear needs to have the plastic clip removed from the new arm, and replaced with one from the white box you describe. Its a pain to get off, but the new one just clips on. Then just fit it to the arm as usual.

fitted my bosch one yesterday , didnt chang any of the clips, went straight on, took 10seconds
