Boot unlocks after rain...!

Anyone had this problem? Basically if it's been raining heavily then when I close the boot the lock continues to try to un-lock itself again repeatedly. So I end up having to drive along with the boot showing "open" on the dash display. Just started doing it in the last month or so for no apparent reason.

Any ideas?

Have a look at the switch in the handle may be getting water in it.

That was my suspicion too. Another job on the list - thank goodness we have such dry summers in the UK...
