Hi guys, 8V RS3 Sportback boot/trunk space. What's the deal? Is it 335L or is is 280L? Is there a difference between 8v.1 and 8v.2 or just between 8P and 8V? Important info and basically down to choice of buying an 8V.1 RS3 sportback or a 8v.2 S3 for practicality. Naturally, I want the RS3 Got a Mk6 GTi at present so don't want a significant loss of space! Thanks! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
I know the FL has 335L of space and I think the pfl has 280L, although don't quote me on that last part.
Surely there can't be that much difference when it is, for all intents and purposes the same car with a few changes. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
Anyone know the actual dimensions and floor to parcel shelf height?or fancy measuring... I'm really trying to make it work then in 6 weeks I can just go buy one and be a happy man! Thank you! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
Thank you! Looks like it's 280l for pfl then. Confusing that the WxL is the same 1000x700 or so but a 55l volume difference. Guess it's the depth of the boot space. Wonder what they did differently between FL and PFL. I think I'll just go take a look. I also might just get a roof box for the extra space requirement so I can still justify the RS! There is a difference between a normal A3 ( non quattro car ) and any other one fitted with the quattro system. In non quattro cars you can drop the floor down further in the boot. In S3 / RS3 etc you cannot. I have had. PFL S3 and a FL RS3 and the boot seems the same size to me. Jungle
I had 5 people in mine a couple of weeks ago, one of them being a 4 month old. All associated equipment fit in the boot just fine.
